Quirky Glamping Plane
The Boeing 767 is the main feature of Quirky Nights Glamping Village. This decommissioned plane, was transported from Shannon Airport in 2016. Having explored the many options proposed by engineers and experts in the field, it was decided that the plane had to be moved up the western coast on a barge towed by a tug. Anton Savage followed the story with keen interest on ‘The Anton Savage Show’ on Today FM. David intends to include 8 accommodation units in the plane, at least one fully wheelchair accessible with shower and toilet, while preserving the cockpit and pilot’s area for weddings and also for educational purposes.

Quirky Glamping Train
This beautiful vintage train is one of the last slam-door trains to operate on the Onger Epping Railway line.It is envisaged that this train can be tastefully decorated to afford guests an experience modeled on the Orient Express. Already it evokes fond memories for those who experienced such trains in the past, while bringing to life literature for children such as Harry Potter’s adventures, and The Polar Express. The train will be able to accommodate small groups, and also couples and individuals. |
